PSA is proud to announce that we have nominated Scott Douglas as our UIC (Umpire in Charge). He is sanctioned in more than one well known Softball Association and will be heading the PSA sanctioning process.

All PSA umpires will be required to obtain a PSA sanction in order to umpire. To become certified you have to go to clinics, pass tests, and understand the game at a high level. There is a system set in place to make sure that the umpires are operating efficiently to minimize errors and maximize success on the field.

PSA umpires are expected to be the best and are therefore compensated accordingly. This ensures that we get the best around!
